What bed bugs look like

Eggs

Eggs of bed bugs are tiny in structure and size, and they measure just about 1mm in length. They have the shape of a pear and have a translucent/white coloration.

Nymphs

Have a reddish-brown coloration with a tiny oval-shaped body. Five molting stages characterize the nymph stage before the adult stage. At first, bed bug nymphs have a translucent coloration but after feeding on blood meals, their color changes to reddish-brown

Adults

These are similar to nymphs in color and shape although they have a much bigger size. The size of an adult bed bug has a striking resemblance to an apple seed.
